Bellulu is a brand that blurs the line between sophisticated minimalism and soft femininity. Each of our pieces is individually designed, pigmented, sculpted, and detailed by hand from start to finish. Aesthetically influenced by architecture, Bellulu jewelry achieves visually sculptural, geometric, yet fluid forms. The antithesis to mass-produced, fast fashion items, Bellulu pieces embody attention to detail and serve as functional art for your body. No two pieces will ever be exactly alike. If you ask how the name Bellulu was born, it was made up as a play of words, something that sounded playful and light. Bellulu consists of Italian “Bello” which is beautiful and “Lulu” which is slang for extraordinary and fun. Spot on, don’t you think?
Experiment that turned into hobby
It all began as a creative hobby when I discovered the versatility of polymer clay as a material. The clay is accessible in stores, and you can experiment with it at home. The possibilities of designs and colors are endless! Apart from that, working with polymer clay brought me a feeling of satisfaction and improved my overall mental wellbeing! Step by step, that is how BELLULU began. At first it was all about Jewellery and creating ready made pieces. After a while, connecting the dots of researching how creative activities are helping with mental wellbeing and going through my own experience with that, the idea of DIY Polymer Clay Earring Kits was born! Since the beginning of BELLULU, we have now included other materials in our accessories, apart from polymer clay, we also use natural pearls, stones and semi-precious metals, to give our pieces a higher longevity!
Meet the founder
Linda started her professional career by studying Jewellery Design and Related Products at Birmingham City University. In the latest years, she has been working closely with automotive, fashion, and interior products design, working in the companies based in UK and Latvia. Jewellery making was always present, but more like a hobby in my spare time, but step by step, Bellulu changed from a hobby to a full-time business due to some life changes.
